Narrowband Artifact

This artifact appeared on my aurora images, where the center of the frame was illuminated by auroral light. This is an obvious Fresnel pattern, likely generated from interference within the lens or camera, when illuminated by the narrowband light of the aurora. This artifact is less apparent in areas where the aurora is not illuminating the center of the frame. Camera-Canon 7D Lens- Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L
