Hi Timo. Thanks for stopping in and taking a look. This is a custom adapter that I fabricated in my home machine shop. Hit the "Contact Me" link at the top of the page, if you're interested in mote information. Thanks again for taking a look...

Hello In a picture is a Meade Dsi with photo lens to see. Where did you buy this adapter? Or is it self-constructed? With kind regards Timo Walter

Eric, as a fellow student of mechanics, electronics & light, I must say - excellent work! I'm a photographer and wanna-be astronomer, but it is the design & manufacture of my own equipment that is the most fun for me (and the reason I ended up on your site).
I'm impressed and inspired. I'm sure you have many resources, but I'd at least like to ask: would you be interested in any end mills (free of charge)? I have so much tooling - HSS and solid carbide, from .015" to .75" dia, 2/4 flute, mostly uncoated. Please let me know if your interested. I'd be happy to have them put to such inventive use. Hey Eric... Hope all is well! I was looking through the net for images of dark nebula, and came across your page. Ya, I'm still imaging (minimally) but still like getting out at night! Did you ever get back in the hobby?

Eric.... I just got my FSQ106EDX4. Cannot get it to focus as close as I'd like for bird shots. Did you add some additional spacers to the standard setup for a DSLR (i.e., camera-t-adaptor-coupling 8A-Aux.ring 81S-CCA)?

Hi. Just bought a Takahashi FSQ 106 III. Tell me about the soft padded case you show. I like that there is room for the rings and accessories.

I saw Kevin Chesak a few weeks ago, here in Boston. He has met you I take it?
Again, nice work. -Mark

What a really nice website...thanks for taking the time to share your nice photographic, astro-photographic, and engineering work. I have not seen anyone combine IR with astronomy images before - just Halpha and RGB (and O3, etc)... so that is a nice concept. Your EricPod tripod is very clever... and your PE curves of the G11 and Mach1 are very valuable also. I really enjoyed viewing your photos... keep up the nice work. Thanks again.... - Michael Herman

Just visited your site and really enjoyed the pictures. We met at the All State concert a while back. My son Kevin Chesak as in it with your daughter Jordan. Kevin is really into astronomy and we are looking at getting hims telescope for Christmas/Birthday this year. Was wondering if you could give me some advise in this area. My number is 915-449-0164. Thanks! Mike Chesak
