    This is a very rough test of the grating placing the grating, slit and camera in rough locations. A neon lamp was used as the test source. Slit was open fairly wide, since the room was not dark.

    Small chip on the top surface which will be irrelevant to the final image across the center of the grating. 200mm focal length f/4.2 45 x 45 mm 1200l/mm dispersion 4nm/mm Bandpass : 0.5 mm slit = 2nm 1.0mm slit = 4nm 2.0mm slit = 8nm

    The ball slots were not machined in the proper location, likely due to a mistake setting the 0,0 point on the second operation, on the back side.
